Warren Petersen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the 14th Senate District, shared several statements on social media in late March 2026. His posts highlighted endorsements and criticized recent political actions affecting Arizona residents.
On March 28, 2026, Petersen posted about receiving support from a prominent law enforcement figure: “Incredible endorsement from Art Del Cueto, Border Patrol veteran, Trump administration ally, and one of the most respected law enforcement voices in the country. @ArtDelCuetoAZ knows what it takes to lead law enforcement, and I’m honored to have his trust and the support of law”.
The following day, on March 29, Petersen expressed agreement with an unspecified assessment: “Agree with his assessment 100 percent.”
Later that evening, Petersen criticized Governor Hobbs for vetoing bills he said would have benefited taxpayers: “Hobbs vetoed our bills, not once but twice, that would have given certainty to taxpayers. Now people are dealing with situations like this. The lack of leadership on the 9th floor is hurting Arizonans.”
Petersen succeeded David Gowan as state senator for Arizona’s 14th district after being elected in 2023.
