Warren Petersen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the 14th District, has shared several updates on his campaign for Attorney General and recent activities through his social media posts.

On January 19, 2026, Petersen stated, “Honored to be the only Attorney General candidate endorsed by Gun Owners of America and I am the only one A+ rated by the NRA. I’ll always protect your 2nd Amendment rights.”

Later that evening, he wrote about a campaign event in Tucson: “Enjoyed speaking to voters down in Tucson tonight! Thanks for having me.” This post was made on January 20, 2026.

In another post dated January 20, 2026, Petersen commented on legislative outcomes in Arizona: “This would have happened in AZ had we lost the legislature.”

Petersen’s remarks highlight both his endorsements from prominent gun rights organizations and his engagement with voters as part of his campaign efforts. As background, Petersen began serving in the Arizona State Senate after winning election in 2023 and succeeded David Gowan as representative of the state’s 14th Senate District.
