Warren Petersen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 14th Senate District, has recently used his social media platform to comment on legislative efforts and policy initiatives.
On January 21, 2026, Petersen acknowledged the support of an advocacy group in legislative and legal matters. He wrote, “Center for AZ Policy was there to help us pass the Save Womens Sports Act. Now they are with us defending the law in court. First Cathi, now Peter. Thank you CAP!”
The following day, January 22, 2026, Petersen shared news about a transportation-related initiative: “Today we cleared the first hurdle for renaming the Loop 202 the Charlie Kirk Loop 202. Special thanks to all the amazing people who showed up to support!”
Later that same day, he commented on changes at the federal level related to criminal justice: “We just needed a new president to remove violent criminals!”
Petersen assumed office after replacing David Gowan as state senator for Arizona’s 14th district in 2023.
