Warren Petersen, a Republican and Arizona State Senator representing the 14th Senate District since 2023, shared several personal and political updates on his social media account on April 18, 2026.

In one post from that day, Petersen addressed recent political dynamics in Arizona, stating, “I have been grayed out by the lefties because Trump said I would help turn the state around. Trump is America first and Arizona first. As am I.” (April 18, 2026).

Later the same day, Petersen publicly thanked former President Donald Trump for a mention on social media. He wrote, “Thank you for the shout out Mr. President!” (April 18, 2026).

Petersen also marked a personal milestone for a friend in another post: “Happy 80th Birthday to my friend Gayle Schmidt! Huge turnout to celebrate this amazing lady! She is one hard worker. She said I saved her business when she first started. I don’t think that I did, but I am glad I made a difference. Cutting red tape is a big passion of mine.” (April 18, 2026).

Petersen was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 after replacing David Gowan as representative of the state’s 14th Senate District.
