Warren Petersen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 to represent the state’s 14th Senate District, recently shared updates on social media regarding water management and national politics.

On December 16, 2025, Petersen posted about his participation at the Colorado River Water Users Association (CRWUA) conference in Nevada. He wrote, “Today in Nevada with leaders from all seven Colorado River Basin states at the CRWUA conference, discussing sustainable river management. Water is life—and this will be one of the most critical issues for Arizona next year as we negotiate the post-2026 guidelines that protect https://t.co/5jhYTKqgYd”.

Two days later, on December 18, 2025, Petersen highlighted Arizona’s strong presence at the same event. He stated, “Appreciate so many Arizona leaders showing up strong at #CRWUA2025 in Vegas, including @TJShope and @TimDunn_AZ —fighting hard to protect our water rights! Interesting fact: ~Half of the 1,000+ attendees are from AZ—more than all other states combined. That’s how critical this https://t.co/Px1LpvJ1Sc”.

Later that day, Petersen commented on a national address by former President Trump. In his tweet he said, “ICYMI: Last night, President Trump delivered an address to the nation. He updated us on massive accomplishments: secure border, wages rising, inflation stopped, record investments pouring in. Big announcements: Every service member gets a $1,776 ‘Warrior Dividend’ before”.

Petersen succeeded David Gowan as state senator for Arizona’s 14th district following his election in 2023.
