Warren Petersen, a Republican and Arizona State Senator representing the 14th Senate District since 2023, posted on his Twitter account about his participation in events at the U.S. Supreme Court and the start of his final legislative session.

On January 13, 2026, Petersen wrote: “Tomorrow, I’ll be at the U.S. Supreme Court for oral arguments in the landmark cases protecting girls’ sports.

The time has come to safeguard fairness, safety, and Title IX for female athletes. I believe SCOTUS will get it right and finally put an end to boys competing in https://t.co/7VW7qchokH

Later that day, he posted about legislative activities: “Took the dais today to kick off my final legislative session. Grateful to the leaders from every corner of our state and every level of government who joined us for Opening Day to hear our top priorities.

On January 13, 2026, as he arrived at the Supreme Court, Petersen added: “Walking into the US Supreme Court this morning for oral arguments on the Save Women’s Sports Act full of faith and confidence that common sense and justice will prevail.

Petersen succeeded David Gowan in representing Arizona’s 14th Senate District after winning election in 2023.
