Warren Petersen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 14th Senate District, shared updates on his recent activities and political positions through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).
On December 3, 2025, Petersen described his visit to local communities, writing: “Spent the day meeting amazing people in Camp Verde and Payson. From the Verde Valley to the Rim Country, Arizona never fails to take my breath away. Thank you for the warm welcome — let’s keep fighting for this beautiful state together!”
The following day, he addressed energy policy at both state and national levels. On December 4, 2025, Petersen posted: “The Arizona Senate fought against the Biden Administration’s radical policies to take over our energy sectors with leftist environmental policies. Thankfully, the Trump Administration continues to reverse these failed and costly policies to put America first! Arizona is grateful”
Later that same day, Petersen commented on welfare benefits in Arizona. He wrote: “This morning I was on the radio discussing how Hobbs and Mayes are helping illegals and fraudsters get welfare benefits. They should cooperate with the Trump admin instead of stonewalling. Only people who qualify for welfare should be receiving welfare!” (December 4, 2025).
Petersen began serving as state senator after winning election in 2023 for District 14, succeeding David Gowan.
