TOWN OF GILBERT: Public Review Opens for Gilbert's Land Development Code Refresh

Announcement

Town of Gilbert issued the following announcement on July 8.

The Land Development Code has been undergoing a Town Council directed in-house refresh focused on:

  • Identifying obsolete regulations and remove redundant text
  • Clarifying unclear regulations
  • Simplifying the code language and layout
  • Supplementing or replacing text with tables/graphics
  • Providing links and references to proactively anticipate questions
The Town Council Land Development Code (LDC) Subcommittee worked with staff in a bi-weekly public meeting forum reviewing the code. After a pause during 2020, the LDC Refresh Draft has been released for a 21-day public review and comment.

We invite you to review the draft document and send any public input to LDCfeedback@gilbertaz.gov by July 28, 2021.
