What does tree planting have to do with the Super Bowl? Well, AZ Super Bowl, Verizon, Arizona Public Service - APS and Footprint have worked together to fund community greening projects across Arizona for #SBLVII.
This greening initiative aligns with our #MesaClimateActionPlan including our recently announced goal of planting one million trees by 2050.
150 volunteers pitched in to help plant over 60 cypress trees at the Mesa Cemetery to help restore the beauty of the cemetery grounds. Several trees had been damaged by previous monsoon storms.
