Olivia Calderon is a detention sergeant for the Tempe Police Department and has served for about 16 years. Olivia is from a small town in southern Arizona and has been singing since childhood. She enjoys singing all types of music, and while her passion is regional Mexican music, Calderon's favorite song to sing: is the American National Anthem.
Understanding that emotions can run the gamut, Calderon will sometimes hum a little tune or sing a song to help bring peace in a stressful environment.

Calderon is also a volunteer teacher in Eloy. She wants to set an example and show her students how to seize opportunities.

An example of Olivia seizing an opportunity was when she performed on America's Got Talent season 14. Singing in front of celebrity judges, Calderon quickly got rid of the nerves and sang her heart out. Calderon has also competed in the Univision competition, "La Reina De La Canción."

When asked by the judges, 'Who are you singing for?' Calderon responded, 'I'm singing to America. I want America to listen to Olivia Calderon."

We are incredibly proud to work alongside you, Olivia, and know your voice lights up everywhere that catches your smallest decibel.
