Gilbert, Ariz. - Gilbert Regional Park in Arizona will be shutting its doors to the public on Saturday, March 16, as country music enthusiasts flock to the park for The Smoke Show: BBQ and Country Music Roundup.
The closure is part of the preparations for the event, with several partial closures scheduled leading up to the main day. According to the announcement, on Wednesday, March 13, the Great Lawn and Amphitheater will be closed for event set-up. On the day of the event, Saturday, March 16, the entire park will be off-limits from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM. While there will be no road closures, heavy traffic is expected in the vicinity of Gilbert Regional Park between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
