Gilbert, Ariz. – Happy Presidential Preference Election Day! Vote Centers are open from 6 AM to 7 PM. The Presidential Preference Election (PPE) is an election in which voters can choose who they would like to be their presidential candidate in the upcoming General Election. Party winners of the Arizona PPE are officially determined at the party’s national convention. Only registered Republicans and Democrats are eligible. Voters may cast a ballot in person at any open Vote Center or skip the line to drop off an early ballot. Be in line by 7 PM to vote. A ballot drop box is also located at Gilbert Town Hall, 50 E. Civic Center Drive. Find a location at glbrt.is/VotingLocations. The Maricopa County Elections Department will begin posting unofficial election results at 8 PM tonight at Results.Maricopa.Vote and will continue to post updates until all ballots have been tabulated.
