Matthew Uy, a Mesa resident and member of St. Timothy's parish, said he "will only vote for pro-life candidates" in light of Vice President Kamala Harris' stance on abortion.

“I am pro-life and will only vote for pro-life candidates. If they can't get the question of life right, no other issue matters,” Uy said.

Current Vice President and Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris has publicly supported legalizing abortions through all nine months of pregnancy for any reason.

At the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Planned Parenthood set up a mobile clinic where they offered free vasectomies and free chemical abortion pills.

“Here we come, Chicago! Our mobile health clinic will be in the West Loop with Chicago Abortion Fund & The Wieners Circle Aug 19-20, providing FREE vasectomies & medication abortion. EC will also be available for free without an appointment,” posted Planned Parenthood Great Rivers on X.

Harris was the first president or vice president to visit an abortion clinic.

Harris is the first presidential candidate to put abortion on the forefront of her campaign. Her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, is also historically pro abortion, having removed a requirement in his state for doctors to report any babies that survived an abortion procedure.

In an interview, Harris was asked,  “What is it that you believe? What week of pregnancy should abortion access be cut off?”

To which she responded, “We need to restore the protections of Roe vs. Wade. We’re not trying to do something new.”

When further pressed on the issue of defining a cut-off she was asked, “Does it need to be specific in terms of defining where that guarantee goes up to and where it does not. Which week of pregnancy?” To which Harris just reiterated her previous statement with no reference to the actual question; “We’re not trying to do anything that did not exist before June of last year.”

Kamala Harris believes abortion is “women’s health care” and should be accessible at any point in pregnancy to all people across the country.
