Chandler ranks second nationally in Government Experience Award

The City of Chandler has been ranked second in the nation for the Government Experience award by the Center for Digital Government (CDG). This award recognizes states, cities, and counties that have improved government services to better engage their constituencies and create more responsive governments.

Chandler is known for its commitment to innovation and technology, seeking opportunities for smart, sustainable solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and connectivity.

“It is an honor for Chandler, the Community of Innovation, to be recognized for our efforts to advance digital services,” said City of Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke. “Our staff works tirelessly to enhance technology and processes that benefit residents and businesses.”

Several projects contributed to Chandler's high ranking. These initiatives are part of Chandler’s digital strategy goals aimed at fostering community service through transparency, inclusiveness, awareness, engagement, and feedback that drives action.
