The Downtown Art Walk, a collaboration between the City of Chandler and the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership (DCCP), is set to return this fall.
Every Sunday in October, attendees will have the opportunity to explore Downtown Chandler and view works from local artists. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"Downtown Chandler is always a popular destination with its mix of shops, restaurants and events," said Councilmember Matt Orlando. "I am pleased that the city was able to work with the DCCP to make the Downtown Art Walk one more reason to visit this fall and promote the creativity within our community."
This free event will feature both established and new artists working in various mediums including ceramics, jewelry, photography, and more. Local dance performances and live music will also be part of the festivities.
Artist booths will be situated in Dr. A.J. Chandler Park, along Commonwealth Avenue, and under the colonnade of San Marcos Place and Boston Street.
Attendees can enjoy nearby restaurants and shops during their visit. There is ample free parking available, including five garages on the east and west sides of Arizona Avenue.
