Music enthusiasts and nature lovers are set to converge once again at Chandler's Veterans Oasis Park for the Sonoran Sunset Series. This annual outdoor concert series, which offers free live performances under the stars, is scheduled to begin on October 17.
The concerts will take place every third Thursday of the month from October 17 through March 20, running from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Attendees can expect a variety of local music groups performing different genres and styles.
Theo Anglin, Chandler Recreation Coordinator and event organizer, shared insights about the series: “The Sonoran Sunset Series embraces the connection between live music and nature at this free alfresco event,” adding that it provides an opportunity to enjoy outdoor settings while experiencing new or favorite local bands.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs, along with food and small coolers. However, alcohol is not allowed at the venue.
