A group that supports giving kids ‘puberty blocking’ drugs and once hosted a “Drag Town Hall” at a Phoenix elementary school has endorsed Kamala Harris for U.S. President and named U.S. Reps. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ-3) and Greg Stanton (D-AZ-4) ‘Trans Equality Champions.”

“Advocates for Trans Equality (A4TE) is proud to announce our endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for the presidency,” said the group in a statement. “Since taking office as our nation’s first woman of color Vice President, Harris has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing the well-being of the transgender community.”

The group’s endorsement of Harris mentions the Biden-Harris Administration’s move to enable U.S. citizens “to choose the gender marker ‘X’ on their passports.”

The endorsement statement also references Harris’s support for irreversible chemical castration and ‘sex change’ medical experimentation for children.

A4TE also named Gallego and Stanton as  “Trans Equality Champions” for the congressmen's support for the group’s federal legislative agenda, specifically citing Gallego's and Stanton's opposition to a House bill to prevent boys from participating in girls sports.

The group also cited the congressmen's opposition to the “Parents Bill of Rights Act,” which would allow parents to have a list of books and reading materials available in school libraries, require teachers to provide class curricula to parents, and would require schools to disclose a student’s “gender identity” to parents and guardians.

A4TE’s website features a paper on “puberty blocking” drugs and “why they're an important healthcare option for transgender youth,” as well as a page dedicated to helping Arizona cross-dressing children legally change their names.

The group also used its X account to promote a 2018 “Drag Town Hall” at Academia Del Pueblo Elementary School in Phoenix.

“On Tuesday we’ll hold a Town Hall with Phoenix Mayoral Candidates framed in Drag performance,” said the event’s Facebook page. “Politicians come to Pride for Photo-Ops and to get rainbow cred and rainbow votes. They go back to their offices and don’t do anything to change the status quo.”
