Mesa Public Library is set to host a special event, Preschool Storytime: Halloween Boo, at its four branches. The event will feature trick-or-treat stations and other activities designed to provide entertainment for all attendees.

The schedule for Halloween Boo is as follows:

On Wednesday, October 30, at 10 a.m., the Red Mountain Library located at 635 N. Power Road will hold its event. Councilmember Julie Spilsbury is expected to attend, along with staff from Falcon Field Airport and Mesa Energy Resources. Children will have the opportunity to collect treats from various stations outside the library.

On Thursday, October 31, at 10 a.m., the Main Library at 64 E. First St. will host its event. Mayor John Giles will be present alongside staff from Mesa Energy Resources, Mesa Neighborhood Outreach, and the Mesa Family Resource Center. Similar to other locations, children will gather treats from different stations outside.

The Dobson Ranch Library, located at 2425 S. Dobson Road, will also hold its Halloween Boo on Thursday, October 31, at 10 a.m. Vice Mayor Francisco Heredia is scheduled to participate with support from Mesa Police, Mesa Fire and Medical services, and Mesa Energy Resources staff. Children can collect treats around the Halloween Boo Storywalk.

Additionally, the new Mesa Express Library at 7045 E. Monterey Ave will join in hosting the event on Thursday, October 31 at 10 a.m.

Each child attending Halloween Boo will receive a coloring book about safety from Mesa's Bike and Pedestrian Program and a book from Kids Need to Read while supplies last.

Mesa Public Library encourages children to dress in costumes and bring treat bags for Halloween Boo festivities.
