NSLS club aids families during National Homelessness Awareness Month

Rio Salado College's National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) club concluded its donation drive in support of National Homelessness Awareness Month on November 21, 2024. The initiative involved collecting cleaning supplies and hygiene items for the non-profit organization 7th Dream Helping Hearts. This effort held particular significance as Shaniqua Hopkins, a fellow NSLS student, is the founder of the organization.

Blake Stokes, the current NSLS Student President, expressed gratitude for being able to contribute to the cause. "We are so happy to have the opportunity to support 7th Dream Helping Hearts and their goal of helping foster at-risk pregnant and parenting teens and their children. We hope that these essential supplies make a positive impact in the lives of these families," he stated.

The organization extended its thanks to all donors, including Rio Salado students and employees.
