On December 10, 2024, Rep. Stanton commented on a recent development that he believes is beneficial for Arizona residents concerned about grocery costs. He stated, "This is a good day for Arizonans concerned about the price of groceries." He elaborated that during challenging economic times, such mergers could have led to increased grocery bills and store closures in low-income and rural communities.

In another tweet posted on December 11, 2024, Rep. Stanton celebrated a sports achievement by Arizona State University (ASU) Football team. He remarked that analysts had predicted the team would not perform well in their inaugural season in the Big 12 conference but praised them for proving predictions wrong by becoming undefeated at home and winning the Big 12 Championship. He announced several allocations including $250 million for a water infrastructure fund he created and $215 million to complete the Tres Rios ecosystem project.
