Mesa opens registration for diverse spring recreational programs

Registration has begun for the 2025 spring season programs offered by Mesa Parks and Recreation. The city provides a range of activities suitable for all ages and abilities.

The programs include teen wiffleball night, Major League Baseball pitch-hit-run, flag football clinics for youth, recess for adults, beginner's ice skating, swim lessons, and archery clinics. There are also hobby classes such as Lego Roboteering, dog manners, belly dance basics, and tai chi. Adaptive recreation features a hiking club, rock climbing, and yoga sessions. These activities aim to keep families engaged and active while having fun. Non-residents can start registering on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 8 a.m.

There are four methods available for registration:

1. Online via the Active Net Registration System.

2. By email: Send a completed form to ParksRecInfo@MesaAZ.gov.

3. By mail: Addressed to Mesa Parks and Recreation P.O. Box 1466 Mail Stop 7010 Mesa, AZ 8522.

4. In-person at the office located at 708 W. Baseline Road during business hours from Monday to Thursday between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Registration forms are accessible in both English and Spanish languages. For further inquiries, individuals can contact (480) 644-PLAY (7529). Additionally, some residents may be eligible for the MRS Discount offering a 50% reduction on youth and adaptive programs.
