Rep. Greg Stanton, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 4th district, shared a series of tweets addressing significant political and social issues. He has been an active voice in politics since he replaced Kyrsten Sinema in 2019. Born in Long Island, New York, Stanton now resides in Phoenix and holds degrees from Marquette University and the University of Arizona.

On January 24, 2025, Rep. Stanton commented on the role of FEMA following natural disasters: "After devastating wildfires and floods, FEMA helped Arizona families get back on their feet, recover and rebuild." He criticized plans to eliminate FEMA amidst increasing climate challenges.

On January 25, 2025, Stanton reacted to President Trump's decision to pardon individuals involved in the January 6th insurrection: "President Trump’s decision to pardon the violent insurrectionists of January 6th will go down in history as a complete and utter disgrace." He condemned this action as disrespectful to law enforcement officers who lost their lives during the Capitol riots.

Later that day, he expressed relief over the release of hostages: "After 475 excruciating days in captivity, Daniella, Liri, Naama and Karina are home at last." Stanton emphasized ongoing efforts to ensure all hostages are freed.
