Andy Biggs comments on tragedy at Reagan National Airport

Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona's 5th district, recently shared his thoughts on various pressing issues through a series of tweets. These tweets address a tragic incident, political nominations, and law enforcement leadership.

On January 30, 2025, Rep. Biggs expressed his condolences following an unfortunate event at Reagan National Airport. He stated: "Life is precious and fragile. What happened at Reagan National tonight is tragic." He urged people to pray for the victims and their families and extended gratitude to first responders involved in rescue and recovery operations.

Later that day, he commented on the political resistance faced by RFK Jr.'s nomination, attributing it to financial ties with pharmaceutical companies. Rep. Biggs remarked: "Democrats are fighting hard against RFK, Jr.'s nomination because their pockets are lined with money from Big Pharma." He argued this as a reason to confirm RFK Jr.

In another tweet on the same day, Rep. Biggs endorsed Kash Patel for FBI Director. He quoted Patel's commitment if confirmed: "I commit to you—if confirmed—Senator, every single day, 24/7/365, the FBI will be the premier law enforcement agency in the world." Biggs praised Patel's skills and intelligence as essential for restoring public trust in the FBI and urged Senate colleagues to confirm him.
