The City of Chandler has announced the launch of its Code Enforcement Resident Academy, a program aimed at educating residents about the city's code enforcement process. The initiative seeks to empower citizens to contribute to neighborhood upkeep.

This complimentary, three-week academy will offer participants insights into Chandler's Code Enforcement team. It will cover topics such as property maintenance, common code violations, and how the city maintains community standards. Participants will also learn how to report concerns and play an active role in preserving neighborhood quality.

Sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, February 11; Thursday, February 20; and Wednesday, February 26. All sessions will take place from 4–5:30 p.m. at the Chandler Museum in the Saguaro Room. Residents attending all three sessions will be eligible for a prize drawing.

"Our goal is to foster a greater understanding of the code enforcement process and equip residents with the knowledge and tools to help keep Chandler a beautiful, safe and welcoming place to live," said Erica Barba, Neighborhood Services Program Manager. "This program is a great opportunity for residents to engage with city staff, ask questions and become ambassadors for their neighborhoods."

For further details or registration information, interested individuals can visit Code Enforcement Resident Academy or contact Erica Barba at the Neighborhood Resources Department via phone at 480-782-4328.
