Rep. Greg Stanton, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona's 4th district, recently shared his views on several pressing issues via social media. The tweets address national leadership, campus safety concerns, and economic implications of cross-border commerce.

On January 30, 2025, Rep. Stanton criticized former President Donald Trump for his response to a national tragedy. He stated that "Instead of providing real leadership for a nation in mourning, Trump is exploiting the tragic loss of American lives—including three fallen servicemembers—to fuel a hateful political agenda."

Later that day, Stanton addressed concerns about discriminatory social media activity involving Arizona State University (ASU). He mentioned being in communication with ASU leadership regarding the issue. According to his post from January 30, 2025, "I'm in contact with ASU leadership about discriminatory and threatening social media posts circulating from an ASU student group." He expressed confidence that appropriate measures would be taken to ensure campus safety.

On January 31, 2025, Stanton highlighted the potential risks to Arizona jobs due to changes in cross-border commerce policies. He remarked on the economic and foreign policy implications by stating "Not to mention the tens of thousands of Arizona jobs supported by cross-border commerce that are now at risk."
