Gilbert is seeking community support to replenish local food pantries following increased demand during the holiday season. The annual Gilbert Feeding Families Food Drive will take place from February 10-23, 2025, aiming to provide assistance to families in need within the area.

Residents are encouraged to participate by donating food at various drop-off locations throughout Gilbert. Additionally, cash donations can be made directly to local food banks. According to organizers, "Every $1 you donate can provide five meals or $30 worth of food."

In addition to direct donations, participating restaurants will contribute a portion of their sales to the cause. This initiative offers a chance for community members to positively impact those lacking sufficient access to food.
