Chandler Councilmember OD Harris has been reappointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) Transportation and Infrastructure Services Federal Advocacy Committee. Harris will serve a one-year term, contributing strategic direction and guidance for the committee's federal advocacy agenda and policy priorities.

Harris expressed his enthusiasm about the reappointment, stating, "Chandler’s quality of life and economic development have been enhanced by long-range planning and investments in infrastructure and transportation. This reappointment is a great opportunity to share Chandler’s story with members of Congress, the White House and federal agencies as our committee advocates for investments in local communities."

The NLC Committee members play a significant role in forming policy positions that help policymakers in Washington D.C. understand the issues facing local communities. For further information, individuals are encouraged to visit NLC's federal advocacy committees.
