Mesa's annual spring event, Celebrate Mesa, is set to take place at Pioneer Park on April 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The family-friendly gathering offers a variety of free activities for all ages under the theme "Spring Fling."
The event will feature the unveiling of two new mobile units aimed at enhancing community services. The Mesa Public Library's Read Runner bookmobile will provide expanded access to library resources, particularly benefiting those without easy access to a full-service library. Additionally, the Mesa Parks and Recreation's M.O.R.E. (Mesa Outdoor Recreation Experience) unit will offer educational programs and activities across various city parks.
Celebrate Mesa will also highlight Earth Day with its Living Green Village, where exhibitors will share expertise on topics such as tree planting, composting, recycling, and energy efficiency incentives.
Attendees can expect food vendors, live music, a petting zoo, archery, carnival rides, and displays from city departments. Further details about the event will be available on the City of Mesa website in the coming days.
The event is organized by the City of Mesa in collaboration with several partners including Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities; Mesa Recycles; Foundation for Mesa Parks and Recreation; VCA Mesa Animal Hospital; Semper Fi Heating & Cooling; SRP; FiberFirst; and Dental Depot.
