The Family Easter Celebration is set to return to Downtown Chandler on Friday, April 18. The event will be held at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park: Stage Plaza from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is free for families.
Children aged nine and under are invited to bring their Easter baskets to collect eggs filled with candy or prizes along the 24 Karrot Trail. Special prizes await those who find an egg with a "golden karrot." The trail will remain open until all eggs are collected or until the event concludes.
Families can participate in a drawing for an Easter Basket filled with goodies, with the winner announced at 7:40 p.m. Attendance is required to claim the prize.
Additional activities include carnival games, inflatable attractions, a prize wheel, performances by local groups, and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
An annual Easter coloring contest invites young artists up to nine years old to decorate this year's coloring page using crayons, markers, and glitter. Entries must be submitted by Monday, April 14, and winners across four age categories will be announced at the event stage at 5:45 p.m.
This marks the 45th Annual Family Easter Celebration presented by the City of Chandler in collaboration with partners including Chandler Lions Club, WM, Raising Cane’s, and VCA Animal Referral & Emergency Center of Arizona.
