Representative Andy Biggs, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arizona's 5th district since 2017, shared a number of thoughts on Twitter over the Easter period. Biggs, who has been a voice in Congress since taking over from Richard Miranda and has a background in state politics with a stint in the Arizona Senate, expressed his views on religious significance, immigration policy, and judicial conduct over the course of several days.

On April 20, 2025, Biggs expressed a message of celebration for Easter. "On this Resurrection Sunday, we join believers around the world celebrating Jesus Christ’s triumph over sin and death. Happy Easter! 'He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.' Matthew 28:6", he tweeted, reflecting on the religious significance of the holiday.

Following this, on April 21, 2025, Biggs commented on the stance of former President Trump on immigration policies, notably deportation under the Alien Enemies Act. He noted on Twitter that, "President Trump is right yet again. He is well within his authority to deport criminal illegal aliens under the Alien Enemies Act. Why is the Left so insistent on keeping illegal aliens in our nation?" conveying his support for Trump's immigration policies.

On April 22, 2025, Biggs called for congressional action regarding judicial conduct. He described his proposal by stating, "The House must stand behind President Trump and pass my resolution to remove Judge Boasberg. Federal judges are only permitted to serve during good behavior. Advancing a partisan agenda from the bench is not in compliance with the Good Behavior Clause." Biggs urged his colleagues to support his resolution concerning Judge Boasberg, arguing that the judge had acted against the principles of the Good Behavior Clause.

Andy Biggs, age 64, resides in Gilbert, Arizona. He was born in Tucson and is an alumnus of Brigham Young University and the University of Arizona, where he earned his JD.
