The mast arm holding the traffic signal at Pecos and Hamilton was accidentally damaged by a crane today and needs to be replaced.

The repairs cannot be made until next week but a temporary signal for westbound traffic on Pecos Road is being installed. Because the temporary signal is in the outside westbound lane, there will be a temporary closure of the traffic lane, the bike lane and the sidewalk extending from 500 feet east of the intersection to 200 feet west of the intersection.

This closure will be in effect until the middle of next week when the mast arm can be replaced.
