Families in Tempe, Arizona are in for a treat this summer as the City of Tempe announces four free pool events aimed at providing fun and cooling off in the hot weather. The events promise to make a splash and create lasting memories for attendees.

The first event, "April Pools Day," will take place on April 6 at Kiwanis Wave Pool. According to Tempe Newsroom, the event will feature water safety activities, CPR demos, swim lessons, waves, and a visit from Tempe Fire Medical Rescue.

In June, the excitement continues with the "Float-In Movie" event at Escalante Pool on June 14. Attendees can enjoy music, games, refreshments, the Tempe Play Mobile, and a float-in movie.

Another exciting event, "Verano Sano sponsored by SRP," will be held at Clark Pool on June 22. This event is part of a series of free, fun family events across the Valley where attendees can win water safety resources and prizes like life jackets and swim lesson vouchers.

The summer of splash will culminate with the "McClintock Poolapalooza" on July 13 at McClintock Pool. Participants can play games, enjoy music and frozen treats, and have a chance to win cool prizes.

All events are free and open to the public, offering a safe and enjoyable environment for families to have a great time. However, there is limited capacity for each event, and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

To keep the fun going all summer long, Tempe's pools and splash pads are the perfect way to stay cool and active. Whether riding a wave at Kiwanis Wave Pool, taking a dive in McClintock Pool, or making a splash in Escalante Pool, there are plenty of options for residents to enjoy.

For more information on pool hours, admission fees, and other details, individuals can visit the City of Tempe's website at tempe.gov/pools.
