At 17, Tempe Union High School District senior Madelyn Bailey is nearing completion of both her high school diploma and an associate degree from Desert Vista High School. Her dual enrollment path has fast-tracked her education, allowing her to enter the University of Arizona in Tucson this fall to study psychology. Bailey aims to finish her bachelor's degree by 19, although her career plans are still forming.

Bailey is eager to help others, seeing psychology as a means to improve lives. Her ambitions extend beyond academics, with aspirations of global travel and cultural experiences, all while contributing positively to society. Completing her degree early provides her the flexibility to pursue additional education, potentially a master’s degree.

Bailey’s story highlights the benefits of dual enrollment: accelerating education, financial savings on tuition, and gaining early career exposure. Her experiences are featured in a video series launching today, available on Instagram and Facebook throughout the next two months.
