Eve Seaman Assistant Principal | Heritage Academy
The annual Teacher Appreciation Dinner at Heritage honored three educators for their contributions. Cymany Skouson, who coaches cross country and track, was recognized for her efforts in both sports and academics. Eric Parker, an instructor for Geometry and Calculus, employs a flipped classroom approach and dedicates significant time outside of regular class hours to support his students. Kerwin Blau contributes through various roles, from stagecraft to band direction and more.
Heritage continues its academic focus with the upcoming completion of its testing schedule. The AASA Math tests for 7th and 8th grades are set from April 14 to April 17, aligning with regular school hours. Principal Heidi Udall emphasized the importance of student readiness and thanked both scholars and families for their support.
Additionally, a reminder was issued about dress code compliance, specifying navy blue or khaki bottoms. Information about a Liberty Tour for juniors and seniors is available in the school newsletter.
