Travis Grantham, a third-generation Arizonan and conservative America-first combat veteran, has announced his candidacy for Arizona's 5th Congressional District. The seat is currently held by Andy Biggs, who plans to run for Governor in 2026.
Grantham said, "I took an oath to defend our nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I’ve fought around the world against our foreign enemies, now I’m ready to take on our domestic enemies in Washington D.C." He serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Arizona Air National Guard and is a former state legislator and businessman.
With over 3,000 hours of flight experience in the KC135 aircraft, Grantham has served in global conflict zones. He was an early supporter of President Trump and hosted one of Trump's initial rallies at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport. In 2003, Grantham joined International Air Response Inc. (IAR) as Vice President of Operations and later purchased the company with his brother in 2009. As Chief Operations Officer at IAR's headquarters in Mesa, Arizona, he helped grow the company into a multi-million dollar business before selling his interest in 2017.
During his time in the Legislature, Grantham contributed to several conservative initiatives such as Universal School Choice and Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform. He maintained a voting record that was entirely pro-2nd Amendment, pro-family, and pro-life.
"Andy Biggs and I supported each other back in 2016 when I followed him into the Legislature," Grantham said. "Now I’m ready to follow him into Congress and continue the fight!" His campaign focuses on reducing government size and cost while promoting American values.
Grantham's campaign website and launch video are available at www.GranthamForCongress.com. He lives with his wife Patricia and their two daughters in Gilbert, Arizona.
