University of Arizona to Launch Master of Science in Business Analytics Program at Chandler Location

CHANDLER, Ariz. – The University of Arizona has announced the launch of the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program at its Near You Network location in Downtown Chandler for the fall 2024 semester, starting in the academic year 2024-25.

The MSBA program, offered by the Eller College of Management, has been recognized as the nation’s No. 10 public graduate online business analytics program by U.S. News & World Report in 2023. Dr. Craig Wilson, Vice Provost for Online, Distance and Continuing Education, expressed enthusiasm for the program's addition, stating, "The MS in Business Analytics significantly enhances our academic program offerings in Chandler. We anticipate that this degree program will seamlessly align with the needs of numerous corporations and organizations in the region, and we eagerly await the arrival of our inaugural student cohort."

Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke also welcomed the initiative, noting, "We appreciate the University of Arizona's support in building the workforce of tomorrow here in Chandler." Mayor Hartke emphasized the importance of partnerships with higher education institutions in the city's strategic priorities.

Micah Miranda, City of Chandler Economic Development Director, expressed excitement about the expansion of the University of Arizona's offerings, stating, "We are excited to see the University of Arizona continue to expand its offerings to serve our residents, workforce, and business community."

The Eller MSBA program aims to equip students with in-demand skills needed by employers in Chandler and the Phoenix metro area. The program is designed to cater to the needs of local businesses while preparing students for successful careers in the field of business analytics.

For those interested in the Eller MSBA program, the application deadline for the 2024 incoming cohort is June 1. The program offers a choice between a 10- or 16-month duration, featuring a unique hybrid format with online technical foundation classes followed by in-person sessions at the Chandler downtown facility.
