Chandler hosts Advanced Manufacturing Career Expo in partnership with local entities

The City of Chandler, in collaboration with Chandler-Gilbert Community College and the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, is set to host an in-person Advanced Manufacturing Career Expo. The expo aims to support local manufacturing businesses in building their 2024 talent pipeline.

The event, organized by Career Connectors, will take place on Wednesday, May 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chandler-Gilbert Community College's Agave Hall located at 2626 E. Pecos Road. Both employers and job candidates can attend the event free of charge.

Job seekers can register online at Career Connectors-Job Seekers while employers interested in hosting a booth can register at Career Connectors-Chandler Employers. The expo offers job seekers the chance to network with advanced manufacturing employers from around the East Valley who are hiring for various positions related to manufacturing.

Participating employers include NXP Semiconductors, Microchip Technology, Advantest/Essai, Saras Micro Devices, CoValence Laboratories, Kinetic Engine Systems among others. Candidates will have the opportunity to explore a range of manufacturing positions from entry-level to executive roles and discuss potential internships, apprenticeships and future career pathway opportunities.

"The Chandler Advanced Manufacturing Career Expo is an investment in our future, connecting skilled individuals with career opportunities at the high-tech companies driving our economy forward."

Jessica Pierce, Founder/CEO of Career Connectors also noted that “Opportunities in the Advanced Manufacturing industry are abundant, and events like these serve as vital bridges between job seekers and employers," She added that they were thrilled to partner with the City of Chandler, Chandler-Gilbert Community College and the Chandler Chamber of Commerce to connect job seekers and employers.
