On June 26, 2024, Mesa Water crews commenced repairs on a water main at the intersection of Main Street and Val Vista Drive. As a result, temporary traffic restrictions have been implemented in the area.
According to an update at 1 p.m., while the water main repairs have been completed, traffic restrictions will remain until asphalt repairs are finished. The specific restrictions are as follows: all southbound lanes on Val Vista Drive through the intersection of Main Street and Val Vista Drive are restricted; the eastbound curb lane on Main Street and the southbound turn lane at the intersection are closed; and the northbound left turn lane on Val Vista Drive and Main Street is also closed.
Further updates will be provided once repairs are complete and the intersection is reopened.
