The City of Chandler, Arizona, is set to honor veterans through two special events in November. The 4th Annual Military Appreciation Breakfast will take place on Friday, November 8. Active and retired military service members and their families are invited to attend the event at the Chandler Community Center, located at 125 E. Commonwealth Ave., from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Participants will enjoy a presentation of colors, entertainment, community resource information, and a complimentary breakfast. Each registered veteran may bring one guest. Registration for the general public opens on November 4.

On Monday, November 11, the city will host its annual Veterans Day event at the Field of Honor within Veterans Oasis Park. The celebration begins at 5 p.m., with acknowledgments recognizing local heroes.

These events are organized by the Military and Veterans Affairs Commission along with the Community Services Department. Field of Honor is situated within Veterans Oasis Park at 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road, where free parking is available.
