Chandler, Arizona – The 2024 State of the City Video titled "Struthio" from Chandler has been awarded a Rocky Mountain Emmy Award for Graphic Arts. The video, which includes various visual and special effects, features Mayor Kevin Hartke as he navigates a local gaming experience to commence the State of the City event.

Mayor Kevin Hartke expressed his appreciation by stating, "The Emmy award-winning Struthio production and Emmy nominated videos showcase the extraordinary media and communication professionals working to produce video, digital content and marketing materials for Chandler."

Film-quality videos have become a staple at Chandler's State of the City event. This occasion celebrates the community's people, history, culture, and achievements.

In addition to winning an award, Chandler-produced videos received two nominations in other categories. The "Join Team Chandler" ads were nominated in the commercial category. These ads aimed to promote career opportunities for recruiting police officers, public works professionals, and other essential roles. Furthermore, Chandler's "Go Blonde" water conservation video was nominated in the public service announcement category. This video encouraged residents to conserve water during winter by avoiding over-seeding their lawns.
