The City of Chandler, in collaboration with the BAM Foundation, is set to host the first-ever Road to Riches Car Show. This event will take place on Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chandler City Hall Parking Garage located at 240 S. Washington St., Chandler.
The car show is open to the public without charge and invites both attendees and car enthusiasts to participate. Those wishing to display their vehicles can register online at Road to Riches Car Show. The registration fee is $25 per car or $40 if an event T-shirt is included. All proceeds will support the Chandler Public Housing Authority’s Road to Riches program. Additionally, community nonprofits interested in setting up informational booths during the event are encouraged to email Be A Mushroom for participation details.
Previously, in partnership with the BAM Foundation and Money Vehicle, Chandler's Housing and Redevelopment Division initiated free financial literacy workshops aimed at youth residents of public housing and participants of Chandler’s Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) program. These workshops are designed to aid low-income families in overcoming financial difficulties, building sustainable wealth, and reducing reliance on public assistance.
