Rep. Greg Stanton, currently serving Arizona’s 4th District in the U.S. Congress, has voiced his concerns through a series of tweets. The representative from Phoenix, who replaced Kyrsten Sinema in 2019, addressed various pressing issues related to national safety and veterans' affairs.

On March 7, 2025, Rep. Stanton criticized a plan involving Elon Musk and DOGE concerning air traffic controllers following a recent plane crash. He stated: "Insanity. Weeks after the deadliest U.S. plane crash in decades, Elon Musk & DOGE wanted to fire air traffic controllers! Credit where due: @SecDuffy stood up to Musk & put a stop to that reckless plan." He also called on the Department of Transportation to rehire air traffic control support staff.

In another tweet posted on the same day, Stanton encouraged further reading by sharing a link for more information: "More https://t.co/zv8XxSY6Ni"

Later that day, Stanton expressed his disapproval of actions affecting veterans' services: "A complete betrayal of our veterans. Gutting the VA will only make it harder for Arizona veterans to access the health care and benefits they've earned."
