Gilbert Regional Park to Host Pickleball Tournaments this Spring

Gilbert, Ariz. - Gilbert Regional Park has announced that it will be the host site for several pickleball tournaments in 2024. The park has provided a schedule of the tournaments and the corresponding court closures for the convenience of its visitors.

The first tournament, known as the Center Court Pickleball Palooza, will take place on February 17. During this event, courts 1-8 will be closed from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Following that, the LevelUp Pickleball Camp will be held on March 9 and March 10. Courts 1-6 will be closed from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on both days.

The iPickle Nation Sun Circuit tournament is scheduled for March 22 to March 24. During these three days, courts 1-8 will be closed from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM on March 22, and from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM on both March 23 and March 24.

Lastly, the Pickleball is Great Spring Classic will be held from April 20 to April 23. Courts 1-8 will be closed from 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM each day.

It is important to note that all pickleball courts at Gilbert Regional Park will reopen to the public at the conclusion of each tournament. However, during the tournaments, the courts may become crowded and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the court capacity is reached. Once the court capacity is reached, it is mandatory to follow a court rotation system.

For those who are unable to play at Gilbert Regional Park during the tournaments, the park suggests checking out the public courts at Arbuckle Park and Arrowhead Meadows Park. These alternative locations provide additional opportunities for pickleball enthusiasts to enjoy the sport.
