On February 18, 2025, Rep. Stanton addressed concerns regarding critical programs for seniors in Arizona. He emphasized his dedication by stating: "Here's my promise to Arizona seniors: I will fight like hell against any attempt to weaken critical programs like Medicare and Social Security."

Later that day, he commented on international affairs following a meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan. In a tweet posted on February 18, 2025, he mentioned the importance of maintaining strong bilateral relations: "The House Foreign Affairs Committee met with King Abdullah II of Jordan last week at a critical moment for the future of the region. Stanton expressed concern over recent aviation accidents in the U.S., urging immediate action from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA): "Americans have seen a horrifying increase in aviation accidents over the past three weeks. The FAA must immediately implement the bipartisan safety reforms we passed last year. Our bill increased runway safety measures, required modern technology upgrades & accelerated the hiring…”
