On March 5, 2025, Rep. Greg Stanton expressed strong support for the CHIPS Act in a tweet stating that its removal would be "catastrophic." He emphasized that this bipartisan law is crucial not only for Arizona's semiconductor industry but also for science research and workforce development. He concluded by asserting that surrendering global innovation leadership is not an option. "Getting rid of the CHIPS Act would be catastrophic."

Later that day, Stanton tweeted about the President's Joint Address, indicating disappointment with its content regarding cost reduction and life improvement measures for Arizonans. He remarked that those tuning in did not hear what they expected concerning these critical issues. "Arizonans tuned in to the #JointAddress tonight to hear how this President would lower costs and improve their lives."

In another tweet on March 5, 2025, Rep. Stanton expressed sorrow over the death of Sylvester Turner, his colleague and former mayor of Houston. Stanton acknowledged Turner's dedication to improving the lives of people in Houston and his broader district, noting he will be missed greatly."I’m saddened to hear about the passing of my colleague and fellow former mayor Sylvester Turner."
