Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) has received donations totaling $15,000 from local partners Crown Castle and GM Financial. The funds will support the Queen Creek Promise, a program that enables eligible high school students in Queen Creek to attend CGCC for two years with fully funded Arizona resident tuition. This initiative aims to cover financial gaps after aid and scholarships.
Crown Castle contributed $10,000. Tim Brown, External Affairs Director for Crown Castle's West Area, said, "The team at Crown Castle is proud to support the Queen Creek Promise Program and Chandler-Gilbert Community College." He highlighted the company's role in providing wireless connectivity solutions.
GM Financial donated $5,000. Wayne Saiz, Sr. Vice President of Servicing for GM Financial, emphasized community engagement: "Our goal is to actively support and participate within our community to help elevate students in higher learning." Davis Jenks, Vice President of Servicing for GM Financial's Chandler operations, added, "We are excited that our donation supports local students as they pursue their educational goals and aspirations!"
Chandler-Gilbert Community College serves over 14,000 students annually across its four campuses and is part of the Maricopa County Community College District.
