America First Legal (AFL) has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Mesa Public Schools (MPS) board member Rachel Walden against the school district and MPS Superintendent Andi Fourlis, alleging violations of Arizona's Parents’ Bill of Rights and other statutes. The Mesa Police Department will be out in force over the holiday season looking for impaired drivers in support of the Governor's Office of Highway Safety DUI Holiday Task Force. The task force will be in force through Jan. 1, and will primarily be operational between 5pm and 3am on event nights
