One of our employees, Elyce Gobat, was named one of the top 25 women business leaders to watch in 2023 by AZ BIG Media! 

Elyce, a project manager, has been a leading force in economic development since she first got started 8 years ago. Previously working in New Mexico, she came to our Mesa team almost two years ago. Last year she was named 2022 Young Economic Developer of the Year by the International Economic Development Council.

“What I enjoy most is just having the ability to work on different types of projects,” she said. “Especially in Mesa, we do a lot more spec development so it's a lot of real estate things which I didn't do before. It’s good for growing your different skill sets.”

Elyce knows that bringing in big companies to our city means quality job opportunities and ultimately improves the quality of life here. Last year she worked with establishing MIND 24-7, which opened their flagship in Mesa, and Flex Seal and Devon Energy at her previous job. 

“Since Mesa runs on sales tax, it’s important for us to attract people to come and live here and work here. So by having better quality jobs it's more incentive for people to come to Mesa.”
