The Winter Wonderland Ice Rink at Merry Main Street in downtown Mesa is once again attracting thousands of visitors who want to experience the joy of skating under the stars. Located at the Plaza at Mesa City Center, this 6,006 square-foot ice skating rink is the perfect way to enjoy our amazing winter weather.

Open from Mondays to Fridays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., the ice rink will be available for skating sessions until January 6th. For those who wish to skate on December 24th and December 31st, the rink will open from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. However, it will be closed on December 25th in observance of Christmas.

To ensure a seamless experience, tickets for specific days and sessions can be purchased in advance at https://merrymainst.com/icerink/. However, for those who prefer a spontaneous visit, a limited number of walk-up registrations will be accommodated per session.

In addition to the regular skating sessions, Merry Main Street has organized a special event called Teen Skate. This event is exclusively for teenagers and will take place on December 22nd and December 29th from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Tickets for Teen Skate are priced at $10 and should be purchased in advance.

But Merry Main Street doesn't stop at ice skating. It offers a wide range of fun activities for people of all ages. Visitors can enjoy free visits with Santa every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until December 23rd. The event also features Mesa's Christmas Tree, Jack Frost's Food Truck Forest on Fridays and Saturdays, and Holiday Happenings at the MAC (Mesa Arts Center).

Merry Main Street is made possible through the collaboration of various organizations, including the City of Mesa, Mesa Parks and Recreation, Downtown Mesa Association, Visit Mesa, Mesa Chamber of Commerce, and sponsors such as AT&T Fiber, AMR, Delta Hotels, Boeing, Caliber, Nesbitt Contracting, Prensa Arizona VCA Animal Referral & Emergency Center of Arizona, and MT Builders.
