Gilbert, Ariz. - Gilbert's municipal offices will be closed for Christmas on December 25 and New Year's Day on January 1.

Here's what you need to know:

Trash and Recycling Pickup Will Continue as Scheduled

Curbside trash and recycling pickup for your blue and black cans will continue as scheduled, despite the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

In fact, holidays never affect your pickup day.

Help ensure a smooth pickup by spacing out your cans a minimum of 2-4 feet from each other and 5 feet from objects like signs or vehicles.Visit our trash and recycling pages for more tips.

No Bulk Trash Pickup the Week of Christmas


There is no bulk trash pickup during the week of Christmas. Bulk Trash services will resume January 1.

Library Holiday Hours

 

Southeast Regional Library and Perry Library will be closed for Christmas from December 24-25 and New Year's Day on January 1. Southeast Regional Library will remain closed from January 2-3 to replace the lobby floors. Learn more.

Christmas Tree Recycling Program


Recycle your live Christmas tree at any of Gilbert's drop-off collection sites from December 25 - January 14.


This year, Gilbert has partnered with the Arizona Game and Fish Department and a local non-profit, Goats With Horns Animal Sanctuary, to turn your old Christmas trees into a fish habitat and goat food.
